The Siemens SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels are advanced industrial operator interfaces designed for machine visualisation, process monitoring and operator control in demanding automation applications. The range combines high-resolution widescreen TFT displays, touch operation, industrial communication interfaces and expanded HMI runtime functionality for integration with Siemens SIMATIC and supported automation systems.

Compared with SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels, Comfort Panels provide increased display performance, greater configuration resources, expanded communication capabilities and enhanced visualisation functionality. The uploaded TP range covers display sizes from 7 inches through 22 inches, providing options for compact machine interfaces through to larger process and production visualisation applications.

Depending on the exact model, communication capabilities include PROFINET Industrial Ethernet and MPI/PROFIBUS DP, while engineering is performed using Siemens WinCC Comfort within the TIA Portal environment.
