PRODUCT ASSURANCE

Warranty & Claims

Practical support for verified defects, manufacturer warranties and statutory remedies.

Most hardware electronics include a 12-month manufacturer warranty. The exact warranty is the period disclosed for the product or supplied by its manufacturer.
01Coverage

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials or manufacture during the stated period, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Product-specific terms, lifecycle status and warranty duration take priority where disclosed.

Manufacturer warranties are additional to rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

02What is generally excluded

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, warranty does not cover misuse, accident, incorrect storage, unsuitable environmental conditions, incorrect voltage or wiring, improper installation, unauthorised repair or modification, normal wear, consumables, external events, incompatible system design, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

03Claim evidence

Provide proof of purchase, MPN, serial number, commissioning date, system voltage, installation details, fault description, diagnostics, and clear images or video. We may reasonably require safe return or manufacturer assessment before deciding a claim.

04Safety and data

De-energise and isolate suspected faulty equipment where safe to do so. Do not dismantle or attempt unauthorised repair. Back up and remove confidential data, programs and credentials before returning equipment where practical; testing or replacement may erase stored data.

05Available outcomes

Depending on the fault, applicable law and manufacturer process, the outcome may be repair, replacement, refund, credit or another appropriate remedy. We do not promise advance replacement unless agreed in writing.
