The Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 SB1232 Analog Output Signal Board expands compatible SIMATIC S7-1200 CPUs with one configurable analog output while preserving the controller's compact installation footprint. The board installs directly into the dedicated Signal Board slot on the front of the CPU, allowing additional analog output capability without increasing the PLC width or occupying an expansion module position.

The SB1232 supports 0–10 V DC, 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA analog output signals with 12-bit resolution, making it suitable for controlling variable speed drives, control valves, proportional actuators, analog indicators and other industrial devices requiring precision analog control. Configuration, scaling and diagnostics are fully integrated within Siemens STEP 7 using TIA Portal, providing accurate analog signal generation for machine and process automation applications.
