SIEMENS - SIMATIC S7-1200 - CPU 1212C PLC

The Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU 1212C is a compact programmable logic controller (PLC) designed for small to medium-sized industrial automation applications requiring greater onboard I/O capacity than the CPU 1211C. It combines integrated digital and analog I/O, PROFINET Industrial Ethernet communication, technology functions, diagnostics and modular expandability within a compact DIN-rail mounted controller.

Each CPU 1212C includes eight integrated 24 V DC digital inputs, six integrated digital outputs, two integrated analog voltage inputs (0–10 V) and 100 KB of work memory. Available in transistor or relay output versions, the CPU supports high-speed counting, pulse generation (transistor models), PID control, integrated web server functionality and seamless engineering using Siemens TIA Portal.

Typical applications include machine automation, packaging equipment, conveyors, pumping stations, HVAC systems, OEM machinery, process control and industrial control panels.
