SIEMENS - SIMATIC S7-1200 - CPU 1215C PLC

The Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU 1215C is a high-performance compact programmable logic controller (PLC) engineered for demanding machine automation and industrial control applications requiring greater processing capability, larger memory capacity and advanced networking. Compared with the CPU 1214C, the CPU 1215C provides increased memory, dual integrated PROFINET Ethernet interfaces, enhanced communication capabilities and expanded technology functions while maintaining the compact S7-1200 architecture.

Each CPU 1215C includes 14 integrated 24 V DC digital inputs, 10 integrated digital outputs, 2 integrated analog inputs (0–10 V) and 2 integrated analog outputs (0–20 mA). Available in transistor and relay output configurations, the CPU supports high-speed counting, pulse generation (transistor variants), PID control, integrated web server functionality and engineering through Siemens TIA Portal.

The CPU 1215C is ideally suited for packaging machinery, material handling systems, water and wastewater treatment, OEM machinery, manufacturing equipment, process automation, robotics and industrial networking applications where higher performance and flexible communications are required.
