Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1513 controllers provide high-performance programmable control for medium-complexity machines, production equipment and modular industrial automation systems.

The CPU 1513-1 PN combines 600 KB program work memory and 2.5 MB data work memory with fast PLC processing and an integrated PROFINET IRT interface. The integrated Ethernet architecture supports connection to distributed I/O, drives, HMI systems and other PROFINET devices while providing centralised diagnostics and network configuration through Siemens TIA Portal.

Compared with the CPU 1511 performance class, the CPU 1513 provides increased processing and memory capacity for applications requiring larger control programs, more automation objects or greater system complexity while retaining the modular S7-1500 architecture.
