Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1516-3 PN/DP is a high-performance modular PLC CPU for demanding machine, production and industrial automation applications requiring large memory capacity and flexible multi-network communication.

The controller provides 2 MB program work memory and 7.5 MB data work memory together with three integrated communication interfaces. The first interface provides PROFINET IRT through an integrated 2-port Ethernet switch, the second provides an independent PROFINET RT interface, and the third provides PROFIBUS DP communication.
