SIEMENS - SIMATIC S7-1200 - Analog Input Signal Boards

The Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 SB1231 Analog Input Signal Board expands compatible SIMATIC S7-1200 CPUs with one configurable analog input while preserving the compact dimensions of the controller. The board installs directly into the dedicated Signal Board slot on the front of the CPU, allowing additional analog measurement capability without increasing the overall width of the PLC or using an expansion module position.

The SB1231 supports 0–10 V DC, 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA analog signals with 12-bit resolution, making it suitable for connecting industrial transmitters, pressure sensors, level sensors, flow transmitters and other analog field instruments. Configuration, scaling and diagnostics are fully integrated within Siemens STEP 7 using TIA Portal, providing reliable analog signal acquisition for machine and process automation applications.
