Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 SM 1231 Thermocouple Input Modules provide isolated, high-resolution temperature and millivolt measurement for industrial automation systems. They connect compatible thermocouples to an S7-1200 controller and convert the measured signal into temperature values for processing in the PLC program.
The range includes four-channel and eight-channel versions. Both models provide temperature resolution of 0.1°C or 0.1°F, voltage conversion with 15 bits plus sign, configurable noise rejection, galvanic isolation, wire-break diagnostics, cold-junction compensation and support for temperature or voltage measurement modes.
