Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1511C compact controllers combine PLC processing, integrated signal I/O, technology functions and PROFINET communication within a single S7-1500 controller.

The CPU 1511C-1 PN integrates 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, 5 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs, reducing the need for separate signal modules in compact machine applications. Six integrated high-speed counters and four high-speed outputs provide additional functionality for counting, PTO, PWM and frequency-output applications.

The controller provides 175 KB program work memory and 1 MB data work memory, together with a PROFINET IRT interface incorporating a 2-port Ethernet switch. Its integrated I/O and technology functions make it suitable for compact machines, conveyors, packaging systems, production equipment and OEM automation where a modular S7-1500 architecture is required without relying entirely on separate I/O modules
