Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1511F fail-safe controllers combine standard PLC automation and safety-related control within the SIMATIC S7-1500F platform. The CPU 1511F-1 PN is designed for applications where standard machine-control functions and functional-safety functions need to be coordinated within the same automation system.

The controller provides 450 KB program work memory and 1.5 MB data work memory, together with fast 6 ns bit processing and an integrated PROFINET IRT interface with 2-port Ethernet switch. A SIMATIC Memory Card is required for operation.
