SIEMENS - SIMATIC S7-1500 - CPU 1512C Compact PLC

Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1512C compact controllers combine high-performance PLC processing, integrated digital and analog I/O, technology functions and PROFINET communication in a single S7-1500 controller.

The CPU 1512C-1 PN integrates 32 digital inputs, 32 digital outputs, 5 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs, substantially reducing the requirement for separate signal modules in compact machine architectures. Six integrated high-speed counters and four fast outputs provide technology functionality for counting, PTO, PWM and frequency-output applications.

The CPU incorporates a PROFINET IRT interface with integrated 2-port switch, 400 KB program memory and 2 MB data memory. Its combination of integrated I/O and S7-1500 performance makes it suitable for packaging machinery, conveyors, handling equipment, production machinery and OEM automation requiring a relatively high onboard I/O density.
