Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1516T-3 PN is a high-performance Technology CPU designed for demanding industrial automation and motion-control applications requiring very fast program execution, advanced technology functions and multiple independent Industrial Ethernet networks.

The controller provides 3 MB program work memory and 25 MB data work memory, together with 1.2 ns bit performance. Two PROFINET IRT interfaces, each incorporating a 2-port switch, support deterministic automation and motion-control networking, while a third PROFINET interface provides basic Ethernet/PROFINET services.
